HCAC provides scholarships, mentorships, and educational and cultural enrichment opportunities to
empower youth and promote the importance of educational success.

Scholarship Program: HCAC offers scholarships to eligible high school seniors in the chapter’s service
area, which includes Hall County, White County, Lumpkin County and Habersham County. Scholarship applications are distributed in February.

Breakfast of Champions: This event is designed to recognize students who have excelled in the areas of
scholarship and leadership. The students who are honored at the breakfast are rising or current high
school students. The chapter’s college scholarships are awarded at this event. The chapter is also invited
to recognize scholarship recipients at their school’s honor night.

Delta GEMS: The Delta GEMS program offers a road map for college and career planning, and conducts activities that provide opportunities for self-reflection and individual growth. The goals for Delta GEMS
are to instill the need to excel academically, to provide tools that enable girls to sharpen and enhance
their skills to achieve high levels of academic success, to assist girls in proper goal setting and planning
for their future in high school and beyond, and to create compassionate, caring, and community-minded
young women by actively involving them in service learning and community service opportunities.
