Delta GEMS

The Delta GEMS program is a college and career planning program for African American young women in grades 9-12.  Delta GEMS was created to help these young women realize their dreams and instill the need to excel academically.  The program provides tools to help girls sharpen and enhance their skills to achieve high levels of academic success..  The program is composed of five major components: Scholarship, Sisterhood, Show Me the Money, Service, and Infinitely Complete.  Monthly workshops and outreach activities are included to engage young women in experiences for personal development in the areas of leadership, self-awareness, community service, and college & career preparation.

EMBODI

EMBODI (Empowering Males to Build Opportunities for Developing Independence) is a program created to focus on improving the plight of African American males between the ages of 13-18. African American males continue to be in crisis and are not reaching their fullest potential educationally, socially, and emotionally.
